Skysail has a 4 person sauna which is located in the garden. We provide bath robes and sauna towels.
The Sauna is strictly for adults.
No food or drinks except water allowed in the Sauna.

Cornwall was the main location for the remake of Winston Graham’s Poldark with Aidan Turner in the title role then followed the new film version of Bad Education a film for TV.
The Bad Education Movie sees comedian Jack Whitehall back in the role of Alfie Wickers, “the worst teacher ever to grace the British education system”.
The 26-year old is joined by the rest of the show’s cast, including Sarah Solemani, Mathew Horne and Harry Enfield. The village and harbour shops and locations have been used in many of the scenes and given the locals a lot of interest and amusement! Here you can see them filiming on the quayside.

The Friday and Saturday are always amazing with a firework display on the Saturday evening around the harbour:
What happens?
The week-long event on Mevagissey harbour features exhibitions, food demonstrations, live music and lots of fish dishes to eat. Along with choirs and bands, flora dances, children’s entertainment and competitions, plus colourful parades, boat and raft races, a fete and a huge firework display.
How can you take part?
From early afternoon every day there is a programme of events you can take part in. There’s crab catching on the harbour, a pavement artist competition and a children’s tea for the kids, you can watch fishing boat races on the water, dance along the street in the traditional flora dance, swing your partner at the ceilidh or simply find a seat and enjoy listening to the many choirs and bands that perform during the week. The festival ends with a colourful carnival parading through Mevagissey’s ancient streets and a spectacular firework display from the outer harbour. Most of the festival events are free of charge.

Mevagissey has a lot to offer, not only an extensive choice of eateries from cafes to foody restaurants, serving local mevagissey and cornish fayre and fish favourites with fresh caught fish.
Mevagissey hosts lovely shops amidst the labyrinth of tiny roads and streets in Mevagissey with cobbled alleyways. Cornish treats on offer include fudge, antiques, boutiques, Fatface, shoes, Boots the chemist, handmade silver jewellery, art galleries and gift shops. Mevagissey offers mackerel and deep sea fishing trips, speedboat sightseeing rides, free museum, model railway and aquarium, the ferry to Fowey for a lovely day out or one of its other destinations. For a lovely beach there is Portmellon where you can get a snack at the Snack Shack or hire a paddleboard, or a short car ride or coastal walk to Gorran Haven for the most fabulous beach. Or you could just spend the day on the balcony…overlooking the sea, Mevagissey Harbour and Chapel Point enjoying the lovely seaview of the South Cornish coast.
